William Fitch

William was born in Canterbury, Connecticut Colony on 17 July 1720 to Daniel Fitch and Anna Cooke. He lost his mother, Anna, when he was 15 years old. At the age of 20, he married Mary Paine in Canterbury.

William and Mary had at least 13 children. He passed away in Oneida, New York in 1863.

William was a descendant of Mayflower passenger and Plymouth Colony governor William Bradford.
