Marie-Anne Carufel de Sicard

5th great-grandparent – 1 of 128 in this generation

(1800- )

Marie-Anne was born on 12 March 1800 in the Province of Quebec, perhaps in DeschambaultPortneuf, Québec, Canada. She was the daughter of Joseph Magloire Saint Amant, age 45, and Marie Theotiste Groleau, age 35. Marie-Anne lost her mother when she was only 9 years old.

At the age of 24, Marie-Anne married Antoine Letourneau in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

When she was 35, her father, Joseph, died in his home town of Deschambault.

It is not clear at this time where Marie-Anne and Antoine resided, nor is there a place or date of death or burial for Marie-Anne. What is known is that the couple produced at least one child, Marie-Zepherine Letourneau.
