Zina Kelsey

Zina was born in 31 March 1765 in Killingworth (Clinton), Middlesex, Connecticut, the third child of Amos Kelsey, age 31, and Mabel Parmelee, age 29, who were 1st cousins to one another. Zina’s brother, Amos Kelsey, was also an ancestor.

At the age of 25, on 13 February 1791, Zina married Hannah Stannard, the daughter of John Stannard and Lydia Post. They had six sons and two daughters, but Zina died on 28 August 1806, several months before his youngest was born. Zina and Hannah’s 6th child was Abel Kelsey.
